Despite that our parts enable you to print detailed text and images directly into, onto and around the parts, sometimes you might just want to have a part that looks like it’s made of metal.
But metal parts are incredibly expensive to produce.
Rize customers have the capability to produce strong, robust parts that have the appearance of metal without the cost and weight of metal. This Einstein part below was produced by our customer ThermoFab.
Our proprietary compound of thermoplastic material, Rizium One, has excellent chemical resistance, including resistance to alcohol and acetone, yet despite that, they can be coated and painted without additional surface preparation after 3D printing.
In addition, the parts are watertight and isotropic - uniform in the X, Y and Z axes - so they function exceptionally well in production and manufacturing applications. Yet, they’re a fraction of the weight and cost of metal 3D printed parts.
If you have specific applications for metal-like parts, contact us and we’ll give you guidance on how you can accomplish this with our unique APD (Augmented Polymer Deposition) industrial additive manufacturing platform.
