Rize also honored with Silver Award for Marketing Executive of the Year
WOBURN, Mass. May 2, 2017 – Rize Inc., maker of the world’s most versatile industrial 3D printing technology that provides the industry’s fastest turnaround on manufacturing parts, announced today that its breakthrough Rize™ One 3D printer was named winner of the Gold Stevie® Award in the Business-to-Business Products category in The 15th Annual American Business Awards.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 20.
More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a range of categories. In their decision to award Rize One the top distinction, judges noted Rize’s world class team, unique resolution to an eco problem, enabling shorter time to market or use and meeting a real-world need. Said one judge, Rize “seems to revolutionize the industrial prototyping process. Very cool! Such a game changer!”
Suitable for the additive manufacturing lab or the engineering office, Rize One uniquely produces watertight and isotropic thermoplastic parts, with detailed text and images, that are twice as strong as the competition. Rize One is also the only office-safe 3D printer, without toxic particle emissions, mess or harmful materials throughout the process and no post-processing after 3D printing, saving users up to $500K per year in staffing costs alone and up to 100% in total processing time. Considering the number of parts produced per month, the number of iterations per part and the duration of each iteration, this unique capability has an exponentially positive impact on total R&D process time, costs and designs.
Rize VP of Marketing, Julie Reece, was also honored with the Silver Award in the Marketing Executive of the Year category with judges noting, “Julie’s ability to build Rize’s brand...would be impressive if she had a team of 3-5 marketers working for her. The fact that she has done this alone, is simply extraordinary.”
“We are deeply honored to be recognized by the Stevie Awards for these achievements,” said Frank Marangell, Rize President and CEO. “With Rize One, our team has solved a real user need and has filled a large, unmet market segment in the industry – a 3D printer that can be used in any location to produce injection molded-quality parts anytime, safely, cleanly, quickly and inexpensively. Our team of industry pioneers with over 20 3D printing patents continues to innovate every day, thinking out of the box with entirely new technology to help industrial and medical additive manufacturing users in an exponential manner and to produce world-class marketing. The market recognizes this and we have had an overwhelming response from users, channel and the industry in general.”
More than 190 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. “Each year the judges find the quality and variety of the nominations to be greater than the year before. The 2017 competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
