The Next Generation of FFF 3D Printers is Here

Intelligent Part Platforms enabled by Augmented Polymer Deposition

Augmented Polymer Deposition (APD)

Rize’s patented Augmented Polymer Deposition (APD) is an industrial-grade 3D printing process that involves the simultaneous extrusion of a proprietary compound of medical- and engineering-grade thermoplastic and the jetting of functional inks, voxel (3D pixel) by voxel through industrial print heads to change the material properties of the thermoplastic.

APD's process innovation coupled with RIZE's material innovation creates unique and differentiated values to end customers – delivering an intelligent part platform with safety and strength all in full Color.

Augmented Polymer Deposition (APD) solves many limitations of 3D printing:

  • Stronger parts: Due to the way that the material bonds during the Augmented Deposition process, Rizium One can retain much of its best-in-class Z-strength properties.

  • Faster, easier, hassle free: Augmented Polymer Deposition (APD) eliminates the need for post processing, making the entire process of 3D printing faster.

  • Cuts cost: Using Augmented Polymer Deposition (APD) cuts time and costs in many areas, especially post-processing. The cost of chemicals, labor, equipment, facilities, etc. can be saved.

  • Office safe: The materials and process are safe, Green and completely recyclable, without any harmful emissions, materials or chemicals.

  • Industrial class: Parts printed using the Augmented Polymer Deposition (APD) process are industrial-quality, providing a resolution of 0.25mm (250μ), high-definition text and images at 300dpi on best-in-class Z-strength, low moisture thermoplastic parts.

World First UL 2904 GREENGUARD Certified 3D Printer, RIZE ONE Industrial 3D Printer

Safety enabled by APD: World's First Industrial 3D printer Certified with UL 2904 GREENGUARD

RIZE One is the first and only 3D printer to be certified for health and environment safety under the stringent UL 2904 standards. 3D printers are known to emit up to 200 VOCs and ultrafine particles that can impact users' health and create long term liabilities for companies. Users can now implement the trusted RIZE printers and scale it from engineering all the way to the production floor with no facility changes. The certification includes not only the print process but also the post processing.

Vivid Color enabled by APD

XRIZE is the world’s first true color industrial 3D printer that prints functional parts in Vivid Colors with safe operations, non-toxic and recyclable materials. With an ability to print color, users can embed graphics, logos, instructions and QR codes in the part creating digitally augmented parts for fully traceable and trusted parts.

QR Codes

RIZE 3D printing solutions allow you to print QR Codes directly onto the part adding trust and traceability to protect your Intellectual property

RIZE 3D printed parts are intelligent and digitally augmented with marking capabilities. Add instructions, warnings, signs and more to your parts!

Minimal Post Processing enabled by APD

Rize patented process puts a safe release agent with zero toxicity between the supports and the part. Supports can be easily peeled away and most parts require less than 2 minutes of post processing. The surfaces after removing the supports are functional and require no rework.
