Significant cost, time, quality and other consequences of post-processing limit broad commercial adoption of 3D printing
WOBURN, Mass. September 17, 2016 – Rize Inc., today announced the availability of a new report by renown 3D printing industry expert, Todd Grimm, outlining the significant and measurable impact of post-processing required after 3D printing in order to make a 3D printed part usable. The common perception of 3D printing is that it is a simple, fast, automated and free process. - -Safety Impact – Use, storage and disposal of hazardous materials involved in post-processing are unsafe and costly
