Participants will learn how to optimize design and production processes using an inclusive and sustainable Generative Design and Fabrication Solution
WOBURN, Mass., USA September 26, 2018 – RIZE Inc., a Boston, USA-based, next-generation additive manufacturing company, announced today a set of additive manufacturing workshops for designers and engineers with Dassault Systèmes and value added resellers, VIAS and Caelynx.
With a theme of Unified Design and Fabrication: A Tactile Experience, the workshops will demonstrate how to use generative design and additive manufacturing in one inclusive experience to create designs never before possible, streamline design and production and scale the technology across the enterprise to achieve sustainable process innovation.
The workshops will take place from 4 PM to 7:30 PM at the Dassault Systèmes campus in two cities:
- Santa Clara, CA on October 18, 2018 – focused on the electric vehicle, high tech, aerospace, defense and semiconductor industries
- Auburn Hills, MI on October 23, 2018 – focused on the automotive industry
Each workshop will include interactive presentations, panel discussions and hands-on demonstrations.
“Our focus is to drive additive at scale and bring additive manufacturing to everyone, anywhere,” said Andy Kalambi, President and CEO of RIZE. “With these workshops, we focus on how to drive sustainable innovation for design users and make generative design and fabrication a unified experience. Towards this we are delighted to collaborate with Dassault Systèmes and their VAR – VIAS.”

RIZE Inc. is a Boston, USA-based, next-generation additive manufacturing company defining Desktop Industrial 3D Printing. RIZE released its first product, RIZE™ ONE, which is winning industry and customer accolades. RIZE won a 2018 Frost & Sullivan award for ‘Best Practices in Technology Innovation in the Zero-Emission Polymer Material Additive Manufacturing industry’ and IDC name RIZE a ‘2018 Innovator in 3D Printing.’ Prestigious organizations like NASA, US Army, US Navy and Merck have chosen the product for supporting their additive manufacturing needs.
RIZE ONE, the world’s first hybrid 3D printer, is a breakthrough combining two discrete technologies, material extrusion and material jetting. This enables a one-touch experience to produce parts that mimic injection-molded parts and the capability to digitally connect to Industry 4.0 technologies, all at the lowest total cost of ownership.
The breakthrough is made possible through RIZE’s patented technology called Augmented Deposition, which enables inclusive multi-material printing with minimal post processing and the sustainable use of safe, non-toxic and recyclable materials.
RIZE additive solutions combine simplicity, speed, safety, strength and security, all at the most competitive price point in the industry. For more information, visit www.rize3d.com.
